The Human Rights Forum has been offered since 2007 as part of GlobalFest's mandate as a not-for-profit society to produce an inclusive, world class, multi-faceted arts and culture festival that celebrates and showcases cultural diversity and artistic excellence within our communities and across the globe. The intent of our Human Rights Forum is to share information about issues as part of a larger international coalition being promoted through UNESCO's program 'Against Racism and Discrimination'.
The Human Rights Forum presented by TD has been recognized as an excellent platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and practical solutions necessary to address issues of racism and discrimination in a positive and safe environment. On a daily basis we expect almost 400 members of the Calgary community to attend this free event at the John Dutton Theatre in Calgary Public Library.
