We are looking for new and returning volunteers to help with GlobalFest at Elliston Park. Volunteers will be able to contribute to their community while enjoying the sights and sounds of the festival.

Volunteer areas include:

  • Box office
  • Children's activities
  • Dispatch
  • First aid
  • Golf cart drivers
  • Hospitality
  • Information
  • International bar
  • Merchandise
  • Parking
  • Photography
  • Security
  • Senior and handicapped seating assistants
  • Signage
  • Site set-up and tear down
  • Surveys
  • Ticket takers
  • Traffic
  • Volunteer tent
All ages are welcome to volunteer; those under 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Benefits of volunteering include:

  • A free festival t-shirt
  • Free parking
  • Complimentary snack and beverages
  • A site pass for all five nights of the festival
  • A volunteer appreciation celebration; and
  • The opportunity to participate in the only festival of its kind

All volunteers must commit to working a minimum of three shifts. Each shift will consist of 4 hours and volunteers can choose which nights they want to work.

Fireworks & OneWorld Village Volunteer Positions

We do our best to accommodate, but spots fill up FAST. Priority is given to returning volunteers. Please mark which type(s) of volunteer work you are interested in.

  • Office Help (Prior to the festival) : Customer service, put together volunteer packages
  • Operations : Staff entry gates, take tickets
  • VIP Hospitality (18+) : Assist with running VIP tents, sell drink tickets
  • Client Services : Staff the info booth, hand out programs, give directions
  • Parking and Traffic : Direct drivers, check parking passes
  • Security (18+) : Help keep park secure, staff entry points, check ID's
  • Volunteer Tent Assistant: Pack and distribute snack bags to volunteers, help with volunteer check-in
  • Surveys : Approach patrons and take surveys after the fireworks show
  • OneWorld Café/Beer Gardens (18+): Serve drinks, help with set-up
  • Co-op Kiddies Korral : Create arts & crafts with children at Elliston Park
  • Handicapped Seating Helpers : Assist patrons to seating areas, ensure safety and comfort of guests
  • Will-Call Ticket Booth : Sell tickets, coordinate the pickup of audience passes
  • Green Team : Maintain cleanliness of park
  • I am willing to work wherever is needed!

Specialized volunteer opportunities for qualified professionals:

  • Electricians - apprentice or journeyman
  • Medical professionals for first aid tent - nurses, EMTs, Doctors
  • Stage managers or theatre students
